On the left bank of the Hrazdan River stands one of the main symbols of Sovietization and the subsequent collapse of the former country. The stadium, which shares the valley and the name with the river, has witnessed the most glorious chapters of Armenian football.
It took us more than 24 hours to reach Buenos Aires, and despite our plans to rest, the allure of Argentine football was too strong. We found ourselves racing against time to catch a match between Talleres and Huracan, only to face unexpected challenges at the stadium. With no tickets in hand, we navigated through security with a mix of broken Spanish and Google Translate.
