The third edition explores the rise of the ultras scene across Europe, combining interviews, ground reports, and in-depth stories from various football cultures. Among the highlights is an exclusive interview with Green White Fanatics of Bohemians Praha, offering insight into their mindset, identity, and place within the wider ultras movement. The Prague scene is further expanded with stories of Slavia and Sparta matches.
The Swedish chapter goes beyond the usual focus on Stockholm, showing a broader and more diverse supporter landscape. It includes an interview with SLO discussing the relationship between clubs and fans. In Elfsborg, we also spoke with the female ultras group Gulsvarta Systrar, adding a unique perspective on fan culture. Additional stories from the Swedish Cup final and Halmstad further highlight the variety and strength of the Swedish scene.
A special section titled Road to Europe captures the early stages of the season during the summer months. Within this chapter, Liechtenstein stands out as a special case, a country with only one professional club.
Switzerland presents a chapter defined by structure, organisation, and consistency. The focus is on Zurich, exploring the power shift between the city’s two major clubs and their supporters.
Italy is the home of ultras culture, which is told through scenes in Genoa and Milan, while also expanding to Sicily. A particularly striking story comes from Padova, where fans boycotted home matches throughout the 2024/2025 season, attending only away games, yet still witnessed their club secure promotion to Serie B after winning the title.
Overall, this edition offers a wide-ranging look at ultras and fan culture across Europe, blending well-known scenes with lesser-known stories that reveal the diversity of football culture.
